Forte dei Marmi
Pedro Gil Gómez (born in Esplugues de Llobregat on April 26, 1980) began his professional career with his home town team, the Noia Freixenet. He also spent a season with the CP Tenerife club. Soon after, he left to play in Portugal, first with the Infante de Sagres club, and later spending five seasons with the FC Porto club, where he developed his playing skills up to 2007, when he returned to Catalonia to spend two seasons with the Reus Deportiu club. He later returned to the Portuguese club in Porto where he remained until the summer of 2012. After finishing his contract, he transferred to Italy to sign with the Hockey Valdagno club. One season later, he signed with the Forte dei Marmi hockey club in 2013. Three years later, he returned to the Portuguese league signing with the Sporting Clube de Portugal. On the field, he is known for his great speed, agility and vision for the game. His height makes him an extremely agile player and he is considered to be the greatest forward in the world, next to Alberto Borregán from the Blaugrana team.
