World Champion on the Spanish team, María Sanjurjo trained in the ranks of the Dominicos club, before moving over to the Liceo club, where she made her OK Liga début.   In 2019, one of her goals scored World Championships for Spain. With her Asturian experience, María Sanjurjo has now returned to La Coruña, with the clear aim of fortifying a team, which despite being recently promoted, is attempting to reach the ranks of the elite.
