PALAU DE PLEGAMANS IS PROCLAIMED CHAMPION OF THE QUEEN’S CUP FOR THE FIRST TIME

For the first time in history, the Palau de Plegamans has been proclaimed champion of the Queen’s cup, a milestone that has generated great joy, since the team had lost in the previous four finals. Gijón took the advantage at first with a goal from Sara Roces.

The equality remained until only five and a half minutes left for the end, when Berta Busquets equalized the score to a goal. Despite the lack of goals during the extension, the Palau managed to lift a 2-0 disadvantage in the penalty shootout.
